As I am browsing some of my favorite blogs online, one thing caught my attention. Another new social media network had emerged online and its beginning to take authority faster than what is expected. The site is Pinterest.
Pinterest is an "online" pinboard in which you can collect and share things that you like. It is like a bookmarking site which is a lot better than its predecessors. The content can be shared by people who hand-picked your ideas through the site. Through pinning, your content can go viral throughout the Internet. This is the reason why this new social media tool is gaining popularity.
Pinterest was launched in March of 2010. Unlike the Facebook which came blazing the Internet scenes by just a few months from its launched date, Pinterest success so far is not that far behind. If you are not yet familiar with this new social media site, I will give you a simple introduction on how it works and why your online business should be in Pinterest.
To get started, do the following procedures.
1. Request an invitation
You first neet to get an invite to join Pinterest. If you know someone that is already a member on Pinterest, you may ask them to send you an invitation. If you don't know someone, you can ask me to send you an invite to get started immediately. Otherwise, you can request for an invite frompantere
admin and it will only take a day or two before you get your invitation.
2. Next is to sign up for the program
You can register through creating a login/password combination or you can sign up using your Facebook or Twitter account.
3. Follow some friends
You may follow your friends by searching it on the friend finder process which will scan your Twitter, Facebook and email accounts for people who are already on Pinterest. You may follow me of course.
4. Create your boards
Now you need to start building your boards. You can start with one board but you may add (if you have different interests to share with), edit or delete a board as freely as you like.
5. Begin pinning on your boards!
You may start pinning things which interests you the most. If you have a website or a blog, you may pin your content on your board to start marketing your site through Pinterest, Otherwise if you are just a regular social media user, you may pin other people's content to your board by checking their profiles. You may also use the search feature to look for things that you think are worth pinning on your board.
With Pinterest, there are many types of boards you can create such as health, weight loss, recipes, travel, business, pets, sports, hobbies and many others.
Well first is the credibility of the social media site. As I have said earlier, Pinterest had already garnered millions of users worldwide in just a year of operation with most of them are young women aged 20 to 45 years. This means that people flock to Pinterest which is a good reason why you should use this tool. Internet marketers are aiming for traffic and Pinterest can definitely offer that benefit.
Since its a "bulletin style" pinning board, you may actually advertise a specific category or niche in a single board. Upload images from websites or blogs, or you can upload an image directly from your computer and pin those images to your board. People on your network will repin or share your content, making your marketing campaign simplified.

I made $20 for each 20 minute survey!
Guess what? This is exactly what big companies are paying for. They need to know what their customer base needs and wants. So big companies pay millions of dollars per month to the average person. In return, the average person, like me and you, answers some questions and gives them their opinion.
